You made this in a knit - did you cut it on the crossgrain as suggested? If so, does it sag terribly?
It's an odd fabric - it looks like knitting done by very very tense robot using a thick yarn with think needles and doesn't really have stretch. Not sure if knit was the best way to describe it.
